Back in 2010, we went on a road trip all around Korea. Sleeping in traditional houses with minimal comfort, or staying in five stars hotel. During this trip I could confirmed what I suspected. Driving rules are actual pretty much all the same as ours. Except for one. That one which says “you don’t really have to follow the rules“. So as long as you don’t cause any accident, that’s fine. It’s not as messy as you may imagine, but it’s definitely more loose than what I’m used to.
So here is a rough cut of our trip. There’s also a normal speed version for those of you who enjoy sightseeing.
We spent New Year’s Eve in Time Square, Seoul. We now live in the future. Happy New Year to everybody and enjoy flying cars !
This weekend was also too much rainy for our original plan. So once again we postponed our trip and found an emergency plan. We drove to the west, near the sea, where we went shopping in another traditional market. I saw another bunch of very strange things to eat. Dead or not. And the biggest amount of ginseng I have seen at once so far.
Later on Saturday, after soju and lions, we went to eat some noodle soup (I still can’t believe you pay 4 bucks for so much food). And for a good digestion we played in arcade room, where Luna has the annoying habit to last longer than me in Time Crisis. Shame on me. But after we ran out of money, we went back to the streets and came across a silent disco right in front of us. Way to cool, not to join them. Here is a short video. You must enable sound to really enjoy that video.
